Cooking Instructions


Pork Boudin Links:

Boiling

  1. Defrost
  2. Submerge boudin in boiling water
  3. Cover and wait for second boil (about 5 minutes)
  4. Check casing for tenderness *gently pinch the link and the casing should bounce back to shape

Grilling

  1. Defrost
  2. Place boudin on grill
  3. Turn frequently to avoid busted casing
  4. Should take about 3 to 5 minutes

 

Smoked Boudin

Thaw and microwave for 1.5 min per link

 

Seafood Boudin

Thaw and microwave for 1.5 min per link

 

Boudin Party Links

  1. Thaw
  2. Do not cut links apart until fully cooked, this prevents busting out of casing.
  3. Bring water to boil and submerge party links in water
  4. Bring back to a boil and boil for 2 minutes or until casing is tender
  5. You may have to re twist links before cutting.
  6. Cool for 3 minutes before cutting the links apart with scissors.
    *We find that scissors work better
     

Boudin Balls ( For Regular, Pepper Jack, & Seafood)

 * They do not come battered and fried

  1. Defrost
  2. Roll in flour or breadcrumbs
  3. Fry at 325 for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown

 

Boudin Tots

  1. Fry Frozen
  2. Set oil at 375 degrees
  3. Fry for 2 minutes or until golden brown

 

Boudin Pistolettes

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Bake frozen for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown

 

Boudin Egg Rolls

  1. Fry Frozen at 350 degrees for 5 minutes or until golden brown

 

Stuffed Chickens

Thaw and bake at 350 degrees for 1.5hrs with 1 cup of water

Bake covered, Use an oven bag for the best results *Do not remove netting until fully cooked

 

Stuffed Pork Chops

Thaw and bake at 350 degrees for 1.5hrs with 1 cup of water

Bake covered, Use an oven bag for the best results

 

Whole Turkeys

Thawing may take 2 to 3 days, be sure to order in advanced for the desired date

Bake at 350 degrees for 3.5hrs with 3 cups of water

Bake covered, Use an oven bag for the best results * Do not remove netting until fully cooked

 

Turkey Rolls

Thaw and bake at 350 degrees for 2.5 hrs

Bake covered, Use an oven bag for the best results * Do not remove netting until fully cooked

 

Turducken

Thawing may take 3 to 4 days, be sure to order in advance for the desired date.

Bake at 350 degrees for 4.5hrs with 4 cups of water

Don’s Homemade Crawfish Pies

  1. Set oven at 375 degrees
  2. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes

 

Stuffed Chicken Thighs with Cream Cheese & Jalapenos

  1. Set oven at 350 degrees
  2. Bake for 45 minutes and flip half way through. Internal temperature is 160 degrees

*Also great on the grill 

 

Stuffed Catfish

  1. Set oven at 350 degrees
  2. Baked for 45 minutes, covered or uncovered

 

Stuffed Pork Tenderloin wrapped in bacon w/ cream cheese & jalapenos

  1. Set oven at 350 degrees
  2. Bake 1.5hrs

  1. Set oven at 350 degrees
  2. Bake at 45 mins 

Pork Roast (5 to 8lbs)

  1. Set oven at 350 degrees
  2. Bake for 3.5hrs with 4 cups of water
  3. Bake covered, Use an oven bag for the best results

 

Mini Pork Roast

  1. Set oven at 350 degrees
  2. Bake at 1.5hrs with 1 cup of water

Brisket

  1. Set oven at 350 degrees
  2. Bake 4.5hrs with 4 cups of water
  3. Bake covered, Use an oven bag for the best results

  1. Set oven at 350 degrees
  2. Bake for 30 minutes covered

 

Stuffed Bell Peppers

  1. Set oven at 350 degrees
  2. Bake for 45-60 minutes covered until tender

 

Creole Stuffed Bread

  1. Bake Frozen
  2. Brush with oil or butter
  3. Set oven at 325 degrees
  4. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown
