Shipping & Returns

The Shipping Department is open Monday – Thursday, 8am-2pm CST.
Same day shipping is guaranteed Tuesday – Thursday by 12pm CST.

Packages are only shipped through our Scott Location.

Dry Ice
All perishable goods are frozen before shipment and packed with 10 lbs of dry ice to keep frozen and cold through transit. 10 lbs of dry ice should keep items frozen for two days.

FedEx Ground
Ground services will only be allowed for perishables traveling to areas that are within the 2 day delivery range on the FedEx map. Please keep in mind that Ground has higher chances of delays, and it would be taking a risk. FedEx does not have loss reimbursement for delays using Ground. Therefore, Don’s Specialty Meats will not be responsible for any losses if the customer selects Ground knowing of these risks. Selecting Ground for dry goods will be available in all states.

FedEx Express
2 Day and Overnight services ensure quicker delivery times and guaranteed freshness upon arrival.

Please keep in mind that delivery dates for 2 days and Overnight will be based on the day packages are shipped, and not the day the order is placed.

Holiday Season
In the months of November and December, same day shipping will not be guaranteed. Delays may be expected due to high order volumes across the US during this time. Reminders of deadline cut off dates will be posted.

It is encouraged to order online, phone orders will be at its peak and you will experience long wait times for your call to be returned.

If a package has been delivered damaged, and cannot be consumed or used, you must notify Don’s Specialty Meats within 3 business days from the delivery date. Failure to contact us through phone or email, will result in a denial of FedEx claims and/or refunds.

Don’s Specialty Meats will not be responsible for any delays caused by FedEx or any adverse weather conditions. Don’s Specialty Meats will not be responsible for any losses caused by packages being shipped to a closed business, an incorrect address made by the sender, or if packages are refused by the recipient. Address changes after a package has been shipped may cause delays in delivery.

Don’s Specialty Meats does not accept returns of any sort unless contacted by a customer to discuss a return request.
